Some different sort of trees.

Grass Tree.

Sheep taking refuge from November sun

under Eucalyptus trees.

If I was back in my ‘home’ territory I would say

this was a Sugar Gum, (Eucalyptus cladocalyx).

  However, in this drier climate it may be

one of several eucalyptus species.

Cypress Trees.

No prizes for guessing which way the wind blows,

or how close to the coast.

Fandango’s One Word Challenge:  Newbie

First up I am assuming that the

Mock Orange is the pruned shrub.

However, to assume anything is dangerous

as it makes an ASS out of U and ME.

We have never pruned our Mock Orange

let alone that hard.

Maybe that is why it seems to

be flowering less each year.
