While searching for ‘mist’ I was

surprised to find a photo of a cat.

Taken nearly 10 years ago, Misty was a rescue cat

and a nice one at that.

The foggy mist was probably

the thought behind the challenge.

This was taken on June 12 around midday.

I have added a sepia filter and boosted saturation

    • I think that may have been the logic behind our Misty also. We had some Canadian visitors in early 2013 and she had an evening feed and disappeared (the night they arrived) never to be seen again, unfortunately.

      • It is…but it’s also cats. I’m a dog person in case I have offended you 🙂 Fifty plus years of a sheep farm and dogs become really good friends. Speaking of which I had better let our Lab off for her afternoon run.

      • I, too, prefer big dogs to cats. And yes, dogs are mor loyal and appreciative. Cats are aloof and think it’s our job to feed, shelter, and clean up after them. Someone once told me that a dog looks at you and thinks to himself, “You feed me, you shelter me, you love me. YOU must be God!” A cat looks at you and thinks to himself, “You feed me, you shelter me, you love me. I must be God!”

      • 😄😄😄😄 I heard a similar comment yesterday 😄😄😄 A friend said his cat uses the cat door while they are away, but never, ever when they are home. It just caries on until someone lets it in through the main door. I don’t have the patience to put up with those antics.
