From the Pub Wall

It’s been one of those weeks where I have wanted to cringe.

First the Pub Wall had me second guessing

my grammar and spelling skills.

Lo and behold ‘importent‘ is a word.

However, importentier seems be non-existent.

Verb.

importent. third-person plural present indicative of importer.

third-person plural present subjunctive of importer.

importent – Wiktionary

https://en.wiktionary.org/wiki/importent

I was just getting over the Pub Wall sign and

this next passage came via GuruShots

I found around 15 errors with a few places

where a coma or full stop may have been appropriate.

  2. First love it and it’s funny because my first glance I swear it said imported. Which is ironic given the meaning. Still laughed heartedly after that. Then to that awesome mess. I honestly could not get through the first sentence. I was about to give up until I saw “nudity” then I have to figure out what was going on! 🤣🤣

      • Yes 😀 :-D:-D However this week has definitely become where the showering in glass houses proverb is having last laugh. I have accidentally discovered two posts of mine where a typo slipped through and a letter not added to a word onn posts up to twelve months old. 😦

      • Onn… 😂🤣. I don’t even want to know how many awful mistakes are still out there. I’ll read an old post sometime and just wonder how the heck anyone could decipher what I was trying to say. Really makes me look like an idiot 🥴😂. It’s funny how we tend to fill in or decode a word or 3. I wouldn’t mind people dropping subtle hints when they come across something.

      • I only found mine mistakes because I copied the post. So, like you, I cringe at the thought at how many have slipped through unnoticed. I think I remember asking for a hint if there were errors, however, I think everyone is too polite.
