FOWChallenge-Rebuke

This is the pose Taji adopts when she feels

she has been wrongly rebuked.

Although she is chained in this shot,

she often gets sent to her kennel

for ten minutes after misbehaving.

And Taji doesn’t like it one bit.

Candi, on the other hand is like

the ‘naughty boys’ in a class.

She just accepts it as part of life.

An iPad photo.

My Geelong ophthalmologist has a very old

self-contained garden in which

yellow irises thrive.

Waaay back in the 1960s

Simon & Garfunkel penned and/or

at least sang these lyrics:

… Gazing from my window to the streets below
On a freshly fallen silent shroud of snow
I am a rock
I am an island…

When I read this week’s theme I could only think

of being covered by a blanket of snow this week.

Temperatures forecasts for the week were

33, 37, 27, 33, 29 and plunging to 22 on Saturday.

We certainly had our 33 today (Monday)

and may get some relief on Wednesday.

But roll on  Saturday.

At least I can gaze upon these images of

our visit to the Athabasca Glacier/Columbia Icefield

last June and remember.

Word-of-Day-Challenge-Exquisite

~~~~~
Exquisite is the only  way to  describe the interior of
some of the European Historic places we visited.
The Palace of Versailles being one such example.
Whether the ceiling artwork, or…
…this craftsmanship fifteen to twenty feet above our heads.
