Cee’s Fun Foto Challenge-Pairs

~~~
~~~~~

Pairs from Africa.

and from Kruger National PArk.

The Rhinos being the exception today.

We sighted these at the

Khama Rhino Sanctuary in Botswana.

This sanctuary has a twenty-four hour military guard

with a ‘shoot first ask questions later‘ brief.

Remarkable how cheeky young elephants are.

By far my favourite pair.

Nosy and Rosy at six weeks of age.

An unexpected game drive produced this sighting on

our last evening in South Africa in October 2013.

During September 2014 Limpy their mother was euthanized.

    • If I said they were the tamest wild animals I have ever seen, would that make sense? They seem to know who’s boss, which makes them easy prey for poachers using high powered rifles at a distance which makes the animals feel safe. If you are a lover of animals then Africa is a good spot for wildlife viewing.
