~~~~~
Mostly blending shots this week..
I think this is a Crimson Shrike which did not
blend into anything that I recall.
The Springbok Duiker, on the other hand
was almost always invisible.
I would have thought an animal as tall as
the surrounding vegetation would
be easy to spot…always.
However, this one proved me wrong.
A few paces into the taller bush and it was gone.
May have been standing behind a tree laughing at me.
Whatever the case it was invisible.
Time for a late afternoon nap.
Can you see all six?
That’s why guides tell us not to leave the vehicle.
  1. Wow – surprises everywhere! I have never been to a safari in Africa, so good you are taking me…And the disappearing of a whole giraffe sounds like a magical trick…Love that crimson Shrike – talking of standing out!
