Mostly blending shots this week..

I think this is a Crimson Shrike which did not

blend into anything that I recall.

The Springbok Duiker, on the other hand

was almost always invisible.

I would have thought an animal as tall as

the surrounding vegetation would

be easy to spot…always.

However, this one proved me wrong.

A few paces into the taller bush and it was gone.

May have been standing behind a tree laughing at me.

Whatever the case it was invisible.

Time for a late afternoon nap.

Can you see all six?

That’s why guides tell us not to leave the vehicle.

Wits-End-Weekly-Prompt-Drops

Rain drops keep falling on my head…

and just like the guy who is too big for his bed…

nothing seems to fit…

those raindrops keep falling on my head…

It’s been one of those  days. 🙂

Wouldn’t call this a statue, but not  sure it is an  effigy either.

I think anyone found destroying these birds would be frowned upon.

They can be found at the top of

Grouse Mountain,

Vancouver,

Canada.
