Again another of our ‘whim’ visits. Had not heard of the gardens until a visit was suggested. However, we were told that the Hamilton Gardens won a world wide ‘Best Gardens’ award, which included Butchart Gardens, recently. And we only had time to visit the ‘enclosed gardens’ section of the Hamilton Gardens.

I’d love to see Butchart Gardens in the daytime. We saw it at night, and, although the twinkly lights were magnificent, I missed the blooms!
