WeeklyPrompts-Photo-Challenge-People-at-Work

People at work in Rotorua’s,

Whakarewarewa Maori Village.
First up lessons in pronunciation…

Then our guide showed around the village.

She was particularly proud that this was a living village.

As there was a meeting in progress we were unable to enter this meeting-house.

This cultural troupe then entertained visitors…

and appeared to thoroughly enjoyed their work…

as much as we enjoyed their performance.

Expression ranged from war like, to happy…

to that of intense concentration.

As we were leaving after lunch (included in the price),

via the gift shop, our guide was behind her uncle’s desk

and gave us a private demonstration of how

to make clothing from the widely grown New Zealand flax.
