I turned to nature for details
again this week.
A Red Headed Weaver
Not often we can get this close to a giraffe.
The gives a trunk a whole new look.
A tusk
I did not know that twice the circumference of
an elephant’s front foot equalled the distance
from its shoulder to the ground.
Or, that its front foot is circular…
while its rear feet were oval in shape.
And while I took those photos it was
keeping an eye on me.
Admittedly I have edited this photo
to accentuate the stripes.
However, I could not have achieved that clarity
if it had been the other end of the zebra.
This is both ends of one animal.
