Week 2

Cooling.

After a day out in the Alaskan summer sun

what better was for a group of Aussies to cool down

but in the Forty below chamber.

Several who have seen this photo

have been quick to point out that

it is not showing -40 Degrees.

However, others’ photos did show closer

to the stated temperature.

when I dove off early recently and she

had not had her breakfast.

I didn’t see it but MGW told me all about it.

Gestures from our Rocky Mountaineer experience.

Before boarding the red carpet was roll out, literally, for us.

And there were some hand gestures during

the airline style, daily safety demonstration.

And at the end of our first day these chocolates

were waiting for us in our Kamloops Hotel.

Next morning saw more red carpet to tread and staff

happily holding umbrellas to keep the light rain at bay.

And the final gesture was this

 @RockyMountaineerTrain 

welcoming committee

at Vancouver Station.

Our thanks goes out to all staff on the

Rocky Mountaineer

for making our journey so memorable.
