THURSDAY’S SPECIAL-April-Words2018

April Words 2018

Tough selection this month 🙂

Just before the sun peeped over the horizon.

It was worth the drive and early rise

to see Dawn break.

Clouds form when airborne water vapour

Condenses unto water droplets or ice crystals.

Rain occurs when warmer air is cooled.

Warmer air holds more water vapour and

when cooled this vapour condenses to water

and rain occurs.

Something that has not happened

frequently enough  this year.

The best I can do for Coalescing

is the merging of the Treur and Blyde Rivers

at Bourke’s Luck Potholes

in South Africa.

Closer to home are some verdant paddocks

under an early morning fog.

I had a long think about Sempiternal and

the only thing I could think of was time.

It will probably be everlasting in our lifetime

and it seems that no matter whether

looking forward and back

we can measure time.

  1. This is a thoughtful response to this challenge. I’ve been thinking about it too but have yet to post. I really like your interpretation of the last word – it’s a tricky one.
