Heck it doesn’t seem all that long ago I was working out that I would be 49 at the turn of the century…but that was what this schoolboy did. Family bereavements, moving houses, boys finishing their formal school years and finding myself (with 48 hours notice) not required at my workplace and out of work three years ago and several overseas trips, have all made the last 17 years fly.

and funny you would go back 17 years like –
our turn of the century was similar in adventure – major change (forced changes) etc.
so we share some of that –
and fly is a good word

I probably should have used another word. The Australian Salute came about because of ‘fly’ or ‘flies’. 😀
