My contribution for this week’s challenge…
Danger
~~~~~
After our Safari in and around
Kruger National Park in South Africa…
we were often asked if we felt in danger…from the animals.
Our answer has always been a resounding ‘No! Not ever.’
We did not have time to feel endangered when
this cheetah wandered down the road
and through our group.
All she wanted to do was flop down on the road
and have her ears scratched.
Here we are being told ‘Close enough. My territory’
Listen to, or read the instruction and no danger.
And they have to begin practising sometime!
Apprehensive…Yes. In danger…not really.
Although I suppose we could have been.
Lovely animals, and good to see them in their habitat
Agreed. I have visited zoos a couple of times since 2013 and always think the animals look sad…no matter how healthy they are.
Lovely photos , so sad to hear and read daily news that these animals are exposed to extinction!
Thank you. It is sad to hear of the animals demise. We saw a lioness and her cubs in 2013. Within twelve months she was dead, from natural causes, but we felt like we lost a family member.
It is too sad to hear that, however, weather effects have integral part in the death of animals 😢 due to global warming, deforestation, and polluted air, etc! Woolly Muses.
