Some typical images from London this week.

This may be the only place in the world

where Clark Kent could change these days.

And London would not be London without Big Ben.

I don’t think I have one photo of Big Ben taken during

my first visit to London forty years ago.

Made up for it in 2016 though.

  2. It was 42 years ago that we visited London, but we made it back this year right before Christmas. Love your pictures. We’ve had so much fun reminiscing about where we were “back when” and your photos help us say, “We saw that, too”!

    • Glad to hear that. I only visited London as a stop over to Canada…but have some deeply etched memories and conversations. MGW was not so keen either this year, however, upon arrival things we had read about in novels, for example the lions at Trafalgar Square, were no longer just words in a book (The Great Library series by Rachel Caine). And movie settings in Europe take on a whole new meaning as many are places we also visited this year.
