Jo’s Monday Walk
This week I took a drive to the coast.
The small coastal town of
Indented Head to be specific..
Most coastal towns have a jetty or pier
situated along their shoreline.
Indented Head was no exception, in fact,
it had two which I discovered.
This one would barely gets the knees working…
however, it is a nice place from which to watch
cargo ships make their way
into Port Philip Bay before
venturing onto Melbourne or Geelong
to unload and load with exports.

I love Indented head, great spot……….no pics of the wreck? I love that you can just see Melbourne in the distance on a clear day

Until yesterday I was unaware that there was a wreck. What would we do without Google?? I do have a few shots of birds on what looks like a wagon wheel. Would that be part of, or the wreck?

yes……..it’s the wheel part of a paddle steamer, the rest (and the other wreck) can only be seen by divers

Okay. I will post hem at a later date. However, my camera was set at 1000 ISO and the shots are almost BW and I have seen more colourful shots

Indented Head! What a very strange name. Woolly! Somebody been bashing it with a mallet? 🙂 I absolutely love your first shot. Many thanks for the link 🙂

Seems to be many strange names around the world. This one may, stress may, have something to do with the fact that there is a slight indent in the coastline. now, this insomniac needs to get a couple of hours snooze before dawn breaks. Goodnight…or good morning. 🙂
