I took a drive to Barwon Heads today…
parked the car just left of this shot and made my way
down under the bridge crossing the Barwon River
as it empties into Bass Strait.
Upon my return I notice this short walk, a short cut,
back to the shopping centre,
which I have cropped out of this shot.

P.S I just noticed your headers change! The one I was smitten with was boats in a marina- I know not where. Barwon Heads? 🙂

Hi Jo, I have eight headers at the moment and they are set to open randomly. The boats in the marina…presumably the sepia tones….is Geelong’s, Corio Bay. I find it a fascinating spot to photograph as the boats are constantly on the move, although you don’t notice until watching the images quickly on the computer.

I thought for a minute you were going golfing when you ‘took a drive’, Woolly! I absolutely love the header photo in its sepia loveliness. 🙂 Thanks for your company!

I keep telling myself to take out the driver but it has not happened for a long time. Regrading the sepia tones…I entered a similar photo in an art/phtography show in early October and it was awarded the Aquisitive Award, which was a bit of a buzz.
