My contribution for this week’s
Walks-Indoor or Outdoor
challenge.
~~~~~
An indoor outdoor walk at
Mt Sheba Resort,
South Africa.
A walk around Lake Wendouree, Ballarat…
about an hour’s drive inland from Geelong.
A walk in the Geelong Botanic Gardens.
Walk from Eastern Beach to the
Geelong Central Business District.
A walk favoured by many locals and visitors alike
is the three or four hundred metre walk
from the Geelong Marina,
along the beach to the Promenade.
The Promenade surrounds a fairly shallow
area of water on Eastern Beach,
an ideal spot for learners to swim.
Finally talking a walk along the top of one of the Twelve Apostles,
along Victoria’s South West Coastline….
will give you a better view of the Apostles
as they appear on many postcards.
Oh I love that final shot! I would love to see that in person some day.
And that is only the most publicized sight along that stretch of coastline. It truly is a glorious spot to visit.
A fantastic selection of photos. I do love the framing on that one photo too
At the time all I wanted to capture was the covered walk outside our rooms…I wasn’t conscientiously thinking of framing the shot. Another bit of luck!
Great idea for a post. And I love the 12 Apostles — have never been there, but your pictures make it real for me.
Thank you. It is a gorgeous place to visit. I was teaching a group of visiting Chinese students in 2002 and arranged a weekend excursion to Twelve Apostles. One girl commented that her Grandfather had visited The Twelve Apostles and told her what a wonderful place it was. She was really pleased that she, also, had visited the area.
