My contribution for this week’s challenge…

Harmony

~~~~~
I have been out most of the day and begin
with a couple or re-posts.maggie_0800
The harmony of  our backyard is severely strained when
anything, or one, tries to come between Maggie and her food.
It’s moments like this which can also stretch a friendship.
These oxpeckers live happily on giraffes.
The harmony and discipline witnessed, and read about,
within an elephant families is adorable.
Apologies if you are getting tired of my elephant photos.
I think they are one of Africa’s most gorgeous, gentle animals.
Although there are times when they have told us
they are not happy to see us.
  2. The oxpeckers are very cool! And in psych class I try and use comics to add humor to lessons – and oh my goodness – the week on memory had way too many elephant comics – and that we were all tired of ! Lol – but never tired of your in the setting elephant nature captures!
    • It absolutely beautiful. Especially seeing animals make their way around our camp, which was usually part of their track to water. And the day we sighted the 1,000 elephants migrating from A to B. Nature at its best.
    • Glad to hear that I have at least one fan 🙂 Towards the end of out Botswana trip our guide estimated we had sighted around three thousand elephants. Shortly after we met a compatriot whose second sentence was ‘…seen one elephant, you’ve seen ’em all…‘ Not the right phrase to use in the company of elephant lovers, I’m afraid.
