My
Routine
Travel Theme.
~~~~~
Up until a few years ago, throwing a piece of
bread out the back door for Maggie…
was a game which would have elicited
a full-blooded headlong charge for said food.
This morning, however, a gentle trot was
all that Maggie felt was needed to reach her target.
At least she acknowledged that I had given her some breakfast.
A quick inspection…
demolished even quicker….
and Maggie’s morning routine is complete.
This is not her breakfast.
She has her breakfast, then cleans up
anything that Soxie may have left behind,
then waits patiently for me to perform my trick for her.
Ah! Yes! She has me well-trained!
The majority of her time these days is spent sleeping
after all her morning exercise with Soxie.
Little do they know that their routines
are about to be shattered.
Such cute photos, Woolly. Two new pups sounds quite challenging. 🙂
That’s what we are afraid of also. But looking forward to it as well.
Thank you. All designed to keep farm dogs around the house. Now it is habit and Maggie’s day does not start until she has her bread. Then she goes and sleeps it off 🙂
Wonderful story and photos, Woolly. They look so peaceful together. Your last statement sparked my curiosity. I hope it’s not bad news.
No, not bad news…at least we don’t think so. There will be more energy in the back yard during 2016.
More energy in the form of two pups…which is both scary and to think of at the same time. We have never had pups since we moved off the farm.
Yes…but sadly, because we are coming to the end of the road…and Ginger’s case, well past the end.
