My contribution for this week’s challenge…
Victory
~~~~~
A few years ago Maggie would…
happily claimed to be victorious after dispatching
this stranger from ‘her’ backyard.
I felt victorious after taking…
these shots of Corio Bay and capturing the reflections in the water.
We at least had lunch feeling victorious after netting
our cherry tree this morning.
The euphoria lasted until I read a post about
a Lorikeet eating fruit through the net.
Some great photos. Good luck with the cherries. I raided my mother’s garden the other day – my first strawberries of the season.
I think we will need luck. We had a reasonable harvest for a little tree two years ago. Last year virtually nothing. Then between buying and installing the net yesterday quite a few of this year’s disappeared…which may account for so few last year 🙂
Just hope our cherries don’t suffer the same fate.
