My contribution for this week’s challenge…
Happy Place
~~~~~
Usually I am reasonably happy wherever I am.
For instance an hour or so ago I was very happy mowing the backyard…
this machine saves a lot of walking and pushing.
Then I caught a glimpse of the orchard (fore-ground) and poo pit…
and realised how happy I was when in the throne room.
Every time I spend a penny,
water used is processed in our water treatment plant…
and then at regular intervals, automatically sprayed on
to this garden bed, via sprinklers…right foreground.
As all our treated waste water ends up here,
we soon christened it
The Poo Pit.
However, our orchard is watered by town, or fresh, water.
So there are some of my happy places.
Hey, when you gotta go, you gotta go and if you can go in a comfortable spot, it’s a happy place. 🙂
What a lovely place you have there, Woolly! No wonder you’re happy. 🙂
Thanks for the link!
Thank you…I let you see part of it before summer set in. Another month of this dry weather and there will be no green grass and the place will look rather drab. Paddocks are already looking really brown…very green two weeks ago.
Not much mowing to do then 🙂
That’s right. In 2013 we had Canadian visitors on New Years Day. I tidied the grass in late December and never had to look at the mower before May or June.
LOL I wouldn’t want to be running through your sprinklers!
Although I agree, I have seen the water when tested and it is clear enough to drink. No, I have not been that desperate. 🙂
I’m glad you’ve not been that desperate. If it was that pure, you’d let it fall on your orchard. 😉
It is pure enough for the orchard and only need to turn a tap to use that water. It’s just that it is robbing Peter to pay Paul in summer months. And I think, it feels better to use fresh water 😊
Thank you…not many would like ALL those but it does keep that part of the garden watered.
