According to Google there is teal in
the mix of colours in a peacock’s feathers.
I am not going to argue with Google ! 🙂

Gorgeous peacock, the bright colours in the peacock look strong against the neutral background.

Thank you for your comments, although I must be honest it was taken on my first morning in South Africa and composition was furthest from my mind. Could it be the subconscious at work….?? 🙂

I cannot remember being able to get so close to a bird on any other occasion. Upon our return, last year, I was disappointed to find the gate locked and yet again a fence separating man and best.

Glad you like it…I groan when I see challenges with a colour theme… 🙂 But it then beceomes a challenge within a challenge.

Gorgeous colours, and I agree with Google. There is definitely teal in those feathers.

Black and White are the only two (none) colours that I am sure of.
Shades of colours….I’m lost 😀😕

I have started painting again and learning more about colours. But monochrome is always interesting too.

Good luck with the painting. My painting/drawing skills are still at stick figure level. It is something I have never come close to mastering.

WOW … I just came across your post for Cee’s challenge. I cannot believe I posted a peacock on both my blogs containing photos of peacocks. I had taken the photos in Cartegena, Columbia while on vacation in May, 2015. Well … perhaps, our waves got crossed.
Great photo of your peacock and perfect for the challenge.

I have just looked at your peacock photo….just beautiful. My peacock was found in Johannesburg in 2013. Didn’t remember taking the photos but luckily had tagged them when I searched my computer.
