My contribution for this week’s challenge…
Ephemeral
~~~~~
I think ephemeral leaves us with many options.
Defined as lasting for a very short period of time,
I did once read that
diamonds take 10,000 years to form naturally,
which is
only the blink of an eye in geological terms.
So I discovered some fog photos from last winter.
Foggy weather is ideal for creating dew on fences and shrubs
which is usually gone before noon…if not earlier.
The fog or steam on the river will last as long.
I love fog photography and
my favourite subjects are trees.
They take on an eerie ghostly presence
in a fog and that presence does not
hang around for very long.
