My contribution for this week’s challenge…
Scale
~~~~~
Today I bring you a big, strong, six-foot plus, fisherman.
Right now that looks like a really cool spot to be.
Still looks like a good spot to be on a hot day.
White water? Maybe not so good…but cool.
In case anyone is wondering why I have included a water fall,
zoom in on the photo.
Our fisherman is still there…
just dwarfed by the size of Victoria Falls.
I’m assuming it’s similar to our Niagara Falls at the border of Canada?
I would say not, however, I am not sure if you are referring to Horseshoe or Bridle Veil Falls…both of which have a fairly steady stream of water…except when they freeze. When we visited Victoria Falls it was the dry season and only the lower end of the Falls had any quantity of water flowing. Also there are six or seven other sites of previous Victoria Falls as the site erodes its way, in zig-zag fashion, along a fault/soft section of rock. Otherwise they are identical…water falling from one level to another 🙂 I will post some photos, in the next day or so.
Nice zoom shots to show scale. Thanks for the link but I erased the post before I realized two other people had linked it. Sorry. The photos: https://dunelight.wordpress.com/2015/02/07/weekly-word-challenge-scale-amidships/
