My contribution for this week’s challenge…
Angular
~~~~~
Geelong provided the source of inspiration again this week…
From buildings which house institutions which
are over one hundred years old…
to more contemporary architecture…
including the recently constructed Waurn Ponds library…
the design of which has caused much discussion.
Waurn Ponds is a suburban shopping centre in Greater Geelong.
Meanwhile the new Geelong City Library is taking shape on its old site…
just down the road from the Upside Down building, which…
houses government offices and, temporarily, the city library.
I have fond memories of Toronto, but I guess all places change.
Sorry Janet. I mixed you up with another conversation. I will pay more attention in future. And yes, like most cities there is a variety, the old, the new, the gorgeous and the down right ugly. Sound familiar?
No problem, Woolly. Have to admit i was wondering how Toronto got into the conversation. And yes, most cities are like that.
Seems like we are on the same wave length. I was up blogging and reading until 0200 and Sunday mornings after 5 hours sleep are not my best.
