My
Look Up, Look Down
for Week 54
~~~~~
Earlier in August, I travelled to Queenscliff, to catch the ferry.
While waiting I noted that the wind sock, though battered,
was indicating that the crossing would be fairly calm.
I lined up with other cars and vehicles…
foregoing an early morning coffee in favour of one on board.
Underway and looking back to Queenscliff, from the topside.
Glancing down and all I saw was churning water as the ferry
was propelled smoothly across Port Philip Bay.
Nice pic.s, Woolly. The ‘weigh’ and ;way’ argument: I believe it might be a matter of weighing anchor and getting underway … I have, however, been known (often) to be wrong …
Hoped you would offer an opinion on this. I had a nagging feeling that it was ‘weigh’ correct, although ‘way’ looked better 🙂 Google/Wikipedia etc swayed me to ‘weigh’. I shall makes adjustments before You Know Who reads. Thank you 🙂
