My
Look Up, Look Down
for Week 51
~~~~~
Part of the ceremony during last Tuesday’s First Shot of World War 1 Commemoration…
was a fly over by some Tiger moths.
However, these pelicans…
jumped the gun…
and put on quite a display…
behind the military presence.
However,
they were not content…
with a fly by…
~~~
they had to…
complete…
a full circle or two, before…
deciding…
to…
head…
out into…
Port Phillip Bay.
I enjoyed…
watching their formation flying…
as they glided…
on the air currents.

A spy? 😀 As 1245 approached the Queenscliff – Sorrento Ferry almost came to a standstill listening to the band. It moved off in a hurry and we later heard it had received a “phone call”. It was in the vicinity of where the gun was aimed. Ferry gone…and lo and behold a hundred years to the day, nearly the minute…and another freighter is making a ‘dash’ for The Heads and open sea.
