I’ve photographed who I’ve come to call “my heron” at the lake where I walk and she looks just like yours; a grey one, too, who I think of as her mate, but who knows? I’ve a great pic of her “on stage” on one of the tiny isles with dozens of geese gathered round as if to hear her proclamation 🙂
