If you had a choice to live anywhere would be your preference salt water beaches, forest, fresh water lakes, hot tub, ski resort or desert?
Freshwater lakes.
Salt water beaches are sandy and salty both of which get in your clothes and ruin cars, buildings and any other possessions your may own. Yes, I’m known as “Bah! Humbug!”
I love forests but forests and fires go hand in hand in my neck of the woods.
Ski resort is too cold…besides I can’t ski and there I would need to live in a hot tub to keep warm. After half an hour in a hot tub I would look like ETs neck….and the desert…what did I say about sand.
Therefore it is a freshwater lake. Even if surrounded by forest when the fire came I could jump into the water and NOT get salt or sand in my locks and other parts unmentionable…

What was your favorite toy as a child . . . and now?
The only toys I can think of are a battery operated 1920s style car and Donald Campbell’s BlueBird which he used to set the land speed record in the early sixties. Today my favourite toy would be my Nikon D90, 300mm lens followed by computers of various varieties. That is, iPads, ipods, laptops, PCs, just whatever I am using at the time.

Which do you prefer sweet, salty or both at the same time? .
Hands down….sweet. Anything sweet. For special occasions, for example football grand final….you can’t beat my favourite concoction…Cheezels with a Jelly Bean through the hole.

Would you prefer snowy winters, or not, and why?
Aren’t they cold???. Anything below twenty (Celsius) is cold.

fun post, and I can see what you mean about the salt – but it also has such a healing effect – and some people are healed of lung diseases when they live in close proximity to the saltwater ocean. But when we lived beachside for a short while, I was over it – and it was rusting things up (as you noted – which is truly bah!). Also, I grew up near lake Erie – which is not the most exotic beach around – but freshwater does not burn the eyes and is quite beautiful – and I can see why you chose that Mr. Woolly. 🙂

I answered the question with the same thoughts as you about the salt and sand…everywhere so call me Bah too or Bah two; whichever you prefer 😉

You can choose. Nice to know someone else does not like the sand and sea.

Glad you had a chuckle, Cee. Do you mean 30 Fahrenheit, or Celsius? Easy to be warm and dry this time of the year.
