My contribution for this week’s
Word of the Week Challenge.
~~~~~
Although I posted Mildred of Sausage Tree Camp waiting for her master last week,
~~~~~
I just had to give her another run.
~~~~~
Of course when things became too tiring Mildred would always find another way to wait comfortably.
In good weather Mildred and Millicent could be found waiting patiently on the steps,
both ready to spring into action at the sight of unwanted intruders.
Once again fun photos of a large dog. Don’t tell Millicent she was not the subject.
What a great subject for waiting… dogs are so sweet waiting for their humans to come home. I think the middle one is my favorite.
I’m a big dog lover…sorry if I have stepped on you toes. I admire the terriers, especially when seeing them working a fox den, but it’s big dogs, including small kelpies which I love.
I’m a larger dog lover myself. I don’t know kelpies well, but they seem very close to the Australian Cattledog which is what I have. Smart as a whip! (how did you step on my toes?)
Regarding your toes….I have encountered many small dog lovers who are not impressed by my passion for larger dogs.
Regarding kelpies, they come in ‘red’ and ‘black and tan’and usually a bit bigger than mine. Check this post to see my dogs at various ages.
Also a search for ‘pets’ or ‘Ginger’ should find a few more references.
