My Word of the Week Challenge-High
~~~~~
High up in a tree we sighted this beautiful African Harrier-Hawk…
~~~~~
…luckily it struck a few poses for a few minutes…
~~~~~
…before noticing that we were newcomers to Kruger Park.
Although its talons had a strong grip on the tree branch…
~~~~~
…the hawk decided enough was enough and…
…took flight.
…stretching its wings high and wide in the warm midday sun…
…and with the breeze brushing through its wing tips it was soon out of sight, but not before it’s gracefulness was captured by more than me.
PS: MGW has already said she felt like throwing up after hearing the text accompanying this post. Just hope it is not contagious 😉

I take it MGW has been with you awhile… I think your text is perfect for this series of shots – where else could we get such a crisp sequence!
