Thought these were going to be tough to answer Cee…
…seem to have found something to say though! 🙂
What were you most likely doing on this day when you were 12 years old?
Nearly completed Year 7 in a brand new high school. There was a 50th anniversary celebration two weeks ago.
If you could write about, paint a picture or photograph any scenery you’ve seen before, what scene would you use?
I tend to get excited over new experiences. Whether that is the Tower of London, Galway Bay, outback Australia or a Safari in South Africa. With that in mind my most recent experience would be the one that I would love to photograph again. We hope to return next year
What is one of your favourite quotes?
Probably JFK’s, “Ask not what your country can do for you, but what you can do for your country” would be one of my favourites.
On the home front I enjoy using phrases, or words, such as: ‘strike me purple’, ‘hell ‘n’ tommy’, ‘struth’. They remind me of Australia in the 50s and before American television began to influence our young so much. Hope I have not offended all my USA readers.
When on the farm we would refer to sheep as being ‘2010 drop’…meaning they were three years old. The admin lady at work asked me how old MGW was a few years ago and I have never lived down expressing my dears age in that manner, at work.
What is your favourite type of dog? (can be anything from a specific breed, a stuffed animal or character in a movie)
You only need to scroll down a bit to see my favourite. I used to call him my $6 million dollar dog (after the TV show) only it was not because he was a bionic dog, it was just that Brandy was a champion worker. And he was MY dog… Oh he would acknowledge other people, but when I was around he would ignore them. His daughter, Ginger, who has featured on these pages is also MY dog, however, she never had the time to prove herself like Brandy did.
My favourite pet dog also features on this blog….a Golden Labrador, preferably of the boof head strain!
