My contribution for this week’s
Word of the Week Challenge…
Chilled
~~~~~
I took these photos with MGW’s iPhone…
from the comfort of a Qantas 747 during our flight to Africa.
It was the first time many of us had seen the Antarctic.
I don’t know what the temperature was on the ice-pack,
but it was said to be around a chilly minus 50 degrees Celsius, or colder,
at 30,000 feet by the plane’s information panel in our seats.
Cool. When I went to South Africa we went through Perth rather than Sydney and didn’t go that far south which I was disappointed about
We did the same last year. Was a quicker and more comfortable trip with Qantas even though we had to fly to Sydney. We also were aware of the Antarctic view and disappointed when it did not happen last year.
now that is something different
We thought so. Won’t need to go on one of those flights over the Antarctic now 🙂
